Welcome to the English issue of 'ab40' -- go40! This international oriented issue accompanies the German-language print- and web magazine. It features articles of global interest from the German magazine, and generates English-language articles of interest for the German ab40 as well.

“Change – Women in China” is the title of our first issue of ‘go 40 – Women in Aquarian times’.

‘go40’ sets impulses for women embarking on a new age. The ‘Sun-Uranus Age’, which will affect us all for the next 2000 years: A time in which all hierarchies and hierarchical structures will vanish. A new time in which each individual is important: A balanced individual with a heart full of love and respect for the universe. An individual holding the equilibrium between the feminine and masculine part of herself or himself and an individual in balance between the inner – and the outer world, therefore taking a steady place in the center of the universe.  Finally, an individual who takes responsibility and chooses an active and creative position in our society.
For the making of this go40-issue, I would like to express my gratitude to the artist, architect and author Xiao Hui Wang. She truly is a woman of the 21st century: her lifestyle - living in Shanghai and Munich - , her art work, and her captivating biography make her a role model for many young Chinese women. She has enabled us to catch a glimpse of the rich and inspiring processes of change which women in China experience today.
This go40-issue is a splendid mirror of our common development in this one unique world. Seen from the outside, it is our common beautiful Blue Planet. Seen from inside, it is our common Mother Earth. I want to thank each of you for your courage and generosity in sharing your own experience with us.
